General Information​

• Collegiate Membership is offered to individuals who are pursuing an undergraduate degree.

• Collegiate Membership is currently only offered through one of our collegiate chapters. 

• If you do not attend a college/university that already has an established NSBWM Collegiate Section, you may inquire about beginning one at your college/university.

Membership Benefits​

• A safe space on campus for black women in medicine pursuing an undergraduate degree.

• Unique events and programming tailored to current needs of the women in each chapter.

• Participation in mentorship programs facilitated by the professionals of NSBWM.

• Leadership and career development.

• Access to both clinical and non-clinical opportunities required for graduate school.

• Multiple scholarship opportunities.

• Access to a network of other students and distinguished professionals via the NSBWM Members Portal and NSBWM Newsletter.

Membership Dues

• The national membership fees are $10 per student.

• Chapter dues may vary by chapter and are an additional cost to national membership fees.
